Subject: Re: [IRCA] UNID-1230 "classic
hits 94.7"
Tim,
This may be rather useless, but I just went to the FCC web site and asked
for a list of 1230 stations within 1000 kM of you, as well as a list of 94.7
stations within 475 kM (their maximum). I found two matches, one of
which is probably poop because its LA and 1230/LA is Korean. Because the
FCC limit is 475 kM, that is a limiting factor as far as getting good
data. Pulling a full list of 94.7 and doing some comparisons with 1230
stations, I also find...
KAAA/1230/Kingman AZ (news/talk) and KFLG/94.7/Kingman AZ (C&W)
KLXR/1230/Redding CA (standards) and KEWB/94.7/Anderson CA
(CHR)
I didn't bother looking at midwest or eastern considering 1230 is a
graveyard. Hope this helps, but it seems kinda iffy to me.
