[IRCA] Auroral DX

Today's X class flare provided the first strongly auroral conditions I've noted in a while, with some interesting sunset DX resulting. Some highlights:

670 - XESOS so totally dominating the frequency I was beginnning to wonder if KBOI had gone to Spanish. (new catch)
850 - KOA buried under XEZF
990 - CBW missing, with KTAD and another Spanish language station mixing
1000 - no KOMO, XEFV on top (new catch)
1130 - no sign of CKWX, with KQNA in loud and clear
1410 - KERN Bakersfield coming in instead of regular CFUN Vancouver. This is probably my most reliable indicator of auroral conditions.
1470 - XERCN virtually alone
1590 - KKZZ Ventura, CA dominating with regular KLFE from Seattle inaudible.

In addition, many of the regular powerhouses to the east, such as WHO and KSTP were completely inaudible, leaving empty channels. A dramatic change from last night, when I managed to hear CBA again, albeit briefly.

We also enjoyed a good visual show here, with the aurora virtually overhead, including some nice greens and reds.
