The idea here is to by-pass the noise source by starting the antenna after that point.By using 100% sheilded coaxial cable this can be accomplished.
Shack....isolator ......................RG-6.................9:1 xfmr/ with ground rod................long wire..............................terminating resistor...grd.rod.
That's probably not a great line diagram but maybe you can see what i'm trying to suggest.
