OK Gents (especially you AM Stereo lovers) here is the start of todays
bad news...

>From the Business Section (C1) of the San Francisco Chronicle dated
9/25/04 I found this article which informs that KABL-960 will cease to
exist as of next Tuesday 9/28/04 and become KQKE 'The Quake' carrying
Air America etc etc.  KABL will be moved over to the FM dial to 92.1 and
be based in Walnut Creek (a suburb 25-30 miles east of S.F.).  The
article goes extolling Clear Channel Communications and how smart they
are in making this move.

Again, it is time for Arte Johnson's Laugh In
Character............'verrrry interesting..but
STUPID'......................

KABL has been an icon here for years and years.  Withstanding all sorts
of crap, now this..............sheeeeshhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.............
