Well.....down on Cortes Island near Powell River, BC, things aren't quite
so spectacular, but an R8 with an ALA100 loop antenna about 5 metres on a
side showed carriers on 189 and 198 kHz around 0430 UTC.   189
was strong enough just after our sunset at 0315 to create the hope that
audio might occur someday...I'll be hunting for this on my return to
Victoria in a few days.
