[HCDX] logs Dxing from Mangawhai, Northland, 100km north of Auckland, NZ
Heard on AOR 7030, with 100m wire due east all on 7th April, 2007
171, 19.08 Morocco, Medi 1, Nador// 9575 (which was good) with Moroccan Arabic type language, generally weak but clearly audible.Thanks to Bryan Clark for tip DHN
670, 05.24 R.Rebelde, Cuba weak but clear // 5025 (very strong) co channel sports whch was tentative WSCR IL, DHN
690, 07.37 CBU Vancouver, "Bridge over troubled water" not S and G version, fair // 6160 which was good DHN
720, 07.09 WGN Chicago, IL(presumed), pushing through Radio National NZ at times with talk, DHN
760, 07.30 KFMB, Sandiago, CA, the Lars Larsson show phone in on whether speaker should have gone to Syria, fair to good , co channel latin with lively music, DHN
800, 06.09, Trans Mondial Bonaire, good in SS, but faded out, DHN
870, 05.10 WWL New Orleans, with ad for "gold investor guide", good, DHN
1170, 07.50 2CH, Australia with ads for Sydney taxi service, v good, DHN
1260, 06.29 R Tupi Brazil, (presumed) clearly Brazilian talk but only snippetts and being muscled out any time ID possible, still good to hear any Brazilians on AM!!, thanks to Bryan Clark, DHN
1640, 06.00 WTNI, Biloxi MS, ID as "radio 1640 WTNI" carrying ESPN, Rob Myers show, good DHN
1660, 05.02 WCNZ, Fl, ID as "relevant radio the place I turn to" and religious news, DHN
1690, 06.54 WVON, Berwyn IL (pres), fading in above R Disney with African Amercian music and "talk to Chicago" and song "Here's Holywood" DHN
