[HCDX] FM radio phase II bidding ends today in India
The phase-II expansion of FM radio by inviting bids
from private players ends on Friday, with the
government scheduled to put 64 radio stations on the
block in 19 ?B?, ?C? and ?D? class cities in south
India.
The government is selling a total of 338 radio
stations across 91 cities as part of phase II and so
far sold frequencies in cities across northern,
western and eastern parts, apart from A and A-plus
cities (which are densely populated) of South India.
