[HCDX] mp3-recorder and Mac

Hello!
I need some good advise, and hope there are plenty of them out there:
I´m considering a mp3 instead of my MD and have got a lot of 
information from a o Bjarne Melde. But my ”problem” is that I´m a 
Mac-user...
Do you know something suitable for me? Perhaps you already use ”the 
solution”?
It must have line-in from my Icom R75 and be compatible to Mac OSX (and 
then  hopefully suitable for iTunes).
Preferebly it should have an AGC. If not, how have you been able to 
control the signal when recording?
