Nice Indo/PNG opening the past two mornings. Lots of
good DX! Doing maintenance on the Beverages(NW one
acting up; not making solid contact inside the antenna
switch!) in anticipation of the upcoming DX season.

Britain, 1014-1020, Aug.30, English/Vernacular, EG
promo re Sept.2nd event; prizes offered. Native
mx/drums and "RENB FM" ID at 1016. Talks via phone b/w

3905, PAPUA NEW GUINEA-NEW IRELAND, (P)R.New Ireland,
1005-1011, Aug.30, Vernacular, OM at t/in. YL at 1008
w/ weaker audio. Music at 1011 when overtaken by USB
chatter. (Barbour-NH) 

3976, INDONESIA-KALIMANTAN, RRI Pontianak, 1035-1039,
Aug.30, Indo, Music bits and talks by various
announcer; sounds like an ad string. Wiped out by USB

Aug.30, Indo, Instrumental mx at t/in, OM w/ talks
mentioning Kalimantan; Papua. Back to ballads at 1000.

Continuos ballads w/ anncr. at 1052. Pips/ID at 1100
into alternating OM and YL. Fair as was //

Aug.30, English, Contemporary rel ballads. YL at 1023
w/ prg. intro; "Wantok Radio Light presents.." then
event schedule w/ numerous times and dates for
September, "..for more info contact concert organizers
at (phone number)". Music at 1029 w/ mention of e-mail
address. OM at 1030 w/ ID and talks re Australia and
plea for donations mentioning account and telephone
numbers. YL returns w/ music at 1033. Fair.

discernible ID noted. Booming signal tho Ko'ran

INDONESIA, 9525, RRI, "Thank you very much for your
reception report of our EG (???) transmission.."
e-mail reply in 198 days for an EG postal report.
Mentions preparing prg. schedule and QSL cards to
download from their website. Sez also b/cing on 11785
and 15150. Not a "real" QSL but first RRI reply for
