[HCDX] Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) Launched Two New Overseas Bureaus:

Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) Launched Two New Overseas Bureaus:
KBS launched two new permanent bureaus in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Shanghai,
China on July 1, expanding the total number of KBS foreign branch offices
to 13 in 10 countries.
Veteran journalists from KBS News Kwon Soon-Bum and Kim Jin-Soo were
dispatched to the respective locations where the relationship with Korea
has been growing significantly in the fields of politics, economy and
technology in recent years.
The opening of the two new bureaus in China and South America will enable
KBS viewers to access to the latest events and issues around these regions.
At the same time it would bring about a notable improvement in promoting
cultural exchange through an active introduction of quality TV contents
from KBS to local viewers.
International hit programs from KBS such as "Winter Sonata" and "TV Tales
of Happy World" are to be introduced to South America this year. KBS drama
"Yellow Handkerchief" is currently broadcast on China's flagship TV
channel, CCTV 1; meanwhile Chinese viewers will soon be able to enjoy "Full
House", another all-star-casting drama of KBS. With the launching of the
two bureaus, KBS brings unparalleled commitment to quality news coverage.
