5005, EQ.GUINEA-BATA, 2237-2301*, June 19,
Vernacular/Spanish, Continuos talks/singing by OM in
language over native music. Occasionaly another OM
would briefly speak then a chorus of OM would sing.
Different OM in Spanish at 2255 with full "Radio
Nacional-Bata" ID announcement and talks. Tone/chime
at 2257, final ID then NA until 2301*. Fair and
improving. Very Nice! (Barbour-NH)

5910, COLOMBIA, (P)Marfil Estereo, 1001-1026, June 20,
Spanish, Format fits previous logs of Marfil Estereo
w/ campo music, crowing roosters and animated OM over
music w/ several mentions of "Colombia" and many
trilled R's. Slipping under static by t/out. Not //
6010-LV de tu Conciencia.(Barbour-NH)

6105, BRAZIL-?, UNIDENTIFIED, 2245-2304*-?, June 20,
Portuguese, Alternating talks b/w OM and YL w/
occasional musical bits b/w items. Tentative "Voz do
Brazil" ID at 2301, followed by different prg until
cut-off at 2304 and never returned. Unsure if s/off or
technical problems. Poor signal with bad, faulty
transmitter-like "hum". (Barbour-NH)

7120, PAPUA NEW GUINEA, (P)Wantok Radio Light,
0951-1005, June 18, Once again logged with choral-like
music and YL b/w selections. Lenghty talks from
1000-1005 then back to music. Poor but better than
previous monitoring. Vox audio still to weak to
positively ID. (Barbour-NH)

9750, MALAYSIA, VOM, 1031-1045, June 21, Malay, OM and
YL w/ presumed news; mentions of Malaysia, America and
Iraq. Poor/fair w/ 9755-WYFR splatter. (Barbour-NH)

9885, NEW ZEALAND, RNZI, 1105-1120, June 21, English,
News re South Pacific and Oceania w/ nepotism in Am.
Samoa police force; Solomon Islands whaling; "Open
Skies Agreement" air links to isolated Pacific
islands; financial aid to Nauru. Fair, best listening
in USB. (Barbour-NH)

11780, BRAZIL, R.Nacional, 2225-2237, June 19,
Portuguese, PT versions of "No Woman, No Cry" and "I
Never Promised you a Rose Garden". Full, canned ID
announcement at 2235 with mention of Radio Bras then
back to music. Good. // 6185-fair. (Barbour-NH)

15425, AUSTRALIA, HCJB, 1053-1104, June 21, English,
Usual religous fare and Bible teachings. TC and
"VOGS-HCJB, Australia" ID at 1100. Good signal!
