[HCDX] HF on Amtrak
Going on cross-country Amtrak trip (NY to Seattle). Would like to try
some HF ops. FT857D, switching PS, MFJ tuner. Has anyone done this? What
antenna might work on sleeper car window? Loop? Folded/compressed 1/4
wave dipole? Some folks think the solar film on the window might be
metallic (problem). Might be a total waste, unless someone has some good
info for me.
