[HCDX] Logs from NH-USA, Jan.4-7

Tajik-?, Orchetral music at t/in, YL announcer until
1112, format of OM and YL b/w pop-like music bits from
1115-1130 then traditional "RS" vocal music thru
t/out. Poor with a few peaks, complete mess by 1130.

Vernacular, Hindi ballads, whisper-quiet announcer at

Vernacular, Hindi music and nice ID at t/in and again
at 0050, music and talks thru t/out. Booming
signal!(Barbour-NH)

5486.7, PERU, Reina de la Selva, 1028-1043, Jan.7,
Spanish, Ballads w/ OM talk over and b/w selections. 
Poor/fair. Thanx D'Angelo-FCDX tip. (Barbour-NH)

6536.15, PERU, R.Huancabamba, 0055-0111, Jan.6,
Spanish, OM w/ short talks over music followed by YL
w/ lengthy talks. Poor, battling w/ USB chatter until

7105, BELARUS, R.Belarus, 2115-2130, Jan.5,
Belarussian, YL w/ talks b/w "polka" like mx bridges,
3 minute recording from either a TV/radio show from
2119-2122. Announcements over music at 2128, IS/ID
loop at 2130. Poor/fair. // 7340-poor. (Barbour-NH)

7120, CHINA, (p)Xinjiang PBS-Urumqi, 1148-1205, Jan.7,
Kyrgyz-?, YL b/w musical bits, "Asian" ballad at 1154,
talks thru 1200 with time pips, wind instruments at
1203 into brief talks then vocal music. Poor/noisy.

7465, RUSSIA, (p)R.Radnozeh, 1704-1745, Jan.7,
Russian, Continuos format of OM talking with a young
girl who would occasionaly break into song, w/ or w/o
accordian or flute intro. Still going at t/out. No
discernible ID noted. Poor/fair, needed LSB to get
some "clear" audio. (Barbour-NH) 

9345, KOREA(DPR), KCBS, 2322-2337, Jan.4, Korean,
Ballads and instrumentals, talk at 2336.
Poor/distorted and slipping under static. //
7180-poor, buried under USB chatter. (Barbour-NH)

9779.8, YEMEN, Republic of Yemen R., 1758-1820, Jan.7,
English, AR music until txmitter shut off at 1759,
re-start at 1800 w/ fanfare and full EG ID, news brief
re Palestinian martyrs and Iraqi occupation, news
review prg. at 1810, IDing as "Radio Sana'a",
sandwiched b/w US 80's pop ballads. Poor/fair.

Music by Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews and Smashing
Pumpkins, YL w/ ID and TC 1643. Based on the format
I'd think I was listening to 105.1-WTOS from the top
of Sugarloaf Mt. in the neighboring state of Maine if
I didn't know better! Fair at best. (Barbour-NH)
