[HCDX] Auroral SW logs from the evening of January 2
Here are the logs of the 3 signals I did found interesting on SW during the MW/SW DX sessions of the past evening:
5025 CUBA, Radio Rebelde, Havana JAN 02 2323 - to EXCELLENT local-like peak with a very nice sad-sounding Spanish mid-tempo ballad by a female then faded down barely 3 seconds later to poor strenght. There were times when // MW 600 was stronger than this one (Chiochiu-QC)
6010t COLOMBIA, La Voz de tu Conciencia, Bogota JAN 02 2351 - JAN 03 0001 - Tentative; very weak and noisy signal with man in Spanish with what sounded like religious talk (way too poor to really understand though) followed by a very beautifool llanera tune, then an ID with mention of "...onda corta..." (I have it on tape, but I did lost the tape connector for encoding it in RealAudio unfortunatly) followed by a different sounding folkloric song, then incomprehensible talk. Knowing that llanera music wich is a folkloric kind of music with lots oh harp, is made only in Venezuela and eastern Colombia, I can rule out Radio Parinacota (wich I heard once during a mini-DXpedition to Île-Bizard with only talk content) and Emisora Ciudad de Montevideo. (Chiochiu-QC)
6030 CUBA, bubble jammer JAN 02 2317 - Very strong and way over Radio Marti ! (Chiochiu-QC)
