[HCDX] The DX the past few days

Hello to all of you !

While, I haven't prepared a detailed report, I have been DX-ing relatively intensively the past few days. Saturday morning beetwen about 1115 and 1230 EST (1615 to 1730 UTC) while doing my maths homework about statistics, I listened to RFI broadcast to Africa on 15300 kHz. They were relatively easy to hear on my Sangean 818 here in western Montreal, especially for a broadcast not beamed to North America (RFI don't broadcast to NA anymore, isn't it ?) They talked about the International Day against childrends that take parts in wars and they announced that there are quite a lot of childrens aged 10 to 15 years old that take part in wars. They also had the "Club RFI" program live from Bamako; they played 2 exotic African tunes and had a contest about a novel written by Jules Vernes.

Saturday after 11 PM EST, I had weak huaynos music on 4920 kHz, maybe it was Radio Quito (I reported this one).

Afterwards, Sunday evening I had samba music from Brazil-4885 and I also got Portuguese talk on 4915.

Yesturday while doing another homework on maths (wich I'll try to finish in the next minutes before leaving for a meeting with bi-polar people) I listened to Arabic music from Morocco-9575 (a regular, albeit not very strong target) and I feel asleep listening to Rebelde-5025 (MW was very poor with even RVC-530 very, very tough barely notable in QRM from a computer in our neighborhood).

Before I left for body fitness yesturday evening around 2330 UTC (6:30 PM), I was treated with a scientific show on 6085 about some scientific people who just discovered two new planets that are forming right now.

That's it for now !
