[HCDX] Logs from NH-USA, Mar.14-15

Tajik, Continuous talks w/ 2 OM b/w occasional music
bridges and YL (briefly) at 2327. No discernible ID
noted. Poor/fair, but better than prior monitoring.

4910, ZAMBIA, ZBC, 0248-0304, Mar.15, Vernacular, IS,
NA, OM w/ talk over drums and vocal music, passing
mentions of "Zambia Broadcasting Corporation". Pips
(1+1) at 0300 followed by Afropops. Poor/fair.

5015, TURKMENISTAN, Turkmen R., 2342-0005, Mar.15,
Turkmen, Continuous music w/ announcer b/w
selections,"echo" FX talks over music from 2354-2359.
Pip at 0000 followed by NA, (T)"Watan Radioyaylymy" at
0004 and talk over wind instruments. Poor but readable
under static. Apparently this signs on earlier than
0000, as listed in WRTH and PPWBR, which I assumed in
my Mar. 12 log  when I tuned in during the NA at 0000.
Does Turkmenistan observe DST this time of year or is
this just a schedule change? (Barbour-NH)

7100, ERITREA, VOBM, *0326-0341, Mar.15,
Tigrina/Vernacular, IS/ID loop in various languages.
OM w/ "Dimsti Hafsa" and mentions of "kHz" and "mHz"
at 0330, followed by talks b/w various Horn of Africa
musical bits. Fair. (Barbour-NH) 

7325, LITHUANIA, R.Vilnius, 0144-0200*, Mar.14,
English, YL w/ news re Lithuanian "green" companies,
gov't bringing internet to rural areas. Schedule,
contact info and "This program has come to you from
R.Vilnius-Lithuania", IS at s/off. Fair listening in

9704, ETHIOPIA, R.Ethiopia, 0305-0321, Mar.15,
Ahmaric, Nice Horn of Africa music w/ brief talk b/w
selections. News at 0310 w/ field rpt, interview w/
mentions of Rwanda and Congo. Weak but clear, better
than // 7110. (Barbour-NH)
