"Spotlight on Korea" at MIPTV/MILIA 2005 :

The Korean Broadcasting Commission(KBC), which is the regulatory authority 
and representative body in the field of broadcasting in Korea, cordially 
invites you to MIPTV/MILIA 2005, held in Cannes, France on April 11-15. 
Korea has been selected as the "Country of Honor" in this international 
event and KBC is preparing several exciting sessions on "Korea Wave," 
"Digital Korea," and "DMB."

Highlights of the "Korea Day(Spotlight on Korea)" include:
    * Introduction of Korean Broadcasting by KBC(12 April)
    * What Makes Korean Drama So Hot? - Panelists include representatives 
of major broadcasters and independent production of Korea(12 April)
    * Digital Korea: The Ultimate Convergence Country - Panelists include 
representatives of top IT companies in Korea(12 April)
    * Korea Day Dinner(12 April)
    * Special Exhibition at the Korea Stands in the Riviera Sea View, 
featuring seven exhibitors including KBS, MBC, SBS, EBS, TU Media Corp, 
Samsung, and LG.
    * Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting to Live TV: Korean DMB Showcase(14 April)
The Korea Day will give you a unique opportunity to meet with CEOs and 
senior representatives of major broadcasters and IT companies in Korea, 
such as KBS, KT, Samsung and LG Electronics. Korea has become a global 
leader in the field of broadband and convergence services including DMB 
technology. Chairman Dr. Noh Sung Dai and Standing Commissioner Mr. Yang 
Hwee Boo of KBC, not to mention Mr. Jung Yun-Joo, President and CEO of KBS, 
will also attend all of the Korea Day events.

Korea will also be present at the Riviera Sea View exhibiting Korea's 
newest broadcasting technology. At the Korea Stands, you will be able to 
experience Live TV to Mobile Broadcasting. We have also prepared a special 
event for the participants that come to our stands, handing out two mobile 
phones everyday.
