*** Recording of new Ecuadorian in Lago Agrio
5999.29 kHz

"La Voz del Upano" is not a new radio station but
this transmitter in "Lago Agrio" is brand new and
"hot". I have had the last 2 days an open carrier
on 5999.29 kHz without any audio. This saturday
evening first relay of a FM transmitter "99.3"
and then the DJ was talking about this new
transmitter in "Lago Agrio", Provincia de
Sucumbíos" in the Amazonas jungle. He said
regular transmissions will start 15th of
december.

The town has two names: "Lago Agrio" and "Nueva
Loja"(many people has moved in from the town of
"Loja" in southern Ecuador) and is the capital of
the province "Sucumbíos" in the north-east part
of Ecuador.
