supplies". Mix of pop/dance and reggae music in EG
from 1114- t/out with Beach Boys "409" and Haddaway
"What is love?". "RENB" jingle ID by YL's at 1122.ALso
noted and ad for juice drink followed by "RENB FM" ID
by OM. Starting to fade by 1135, unusable by t/out.
Best reception to date, of any PNG station I have ever

4000.18, INDONESIA, RRI Kendari, 1108-1120+., Oct.26,
Indonesian, Choral-like music at t/in, lenghty talk by
announcer. Weak but audible during several re-checks
thru 1200. (Barbour-NH)

4386.6, PERU, R.Imperio, 1011-1020, Oct.29,
Portuguese, OM w/ "live" religous service. Lots of
"echo"; presumably  from PA system OM talking thru.

Indonesian, Indo music w/ Yl b/w selections. Poor w/
"sweeper" f/in around 1049. (Barbour-NH)

4917.18, BOLIVIA, R.San Miguel(p), 0949-1002, Oct.29,
Spanish, Music at t/in, YL and OM w/ tlks, presumed ID
over music at 1001, promos. Poor, very noisy. Thanks

7120, CHINA, CNR-Minorities Ntwk (listed), 1038-1057*,
Oct.25, Vernacular, OM w/ talks over various musical
bits, fanfare w/ anthem-like vocals at 1054, more
talks cut off mid-sentence at 1057. Poor/fair under

7260. VANUATU, R.Vanuatu, 0945-1018, Oct.26,
Vernacular, Pop/R&B ballads under static, YL over
music at 1000, (p)news untio musical bridge at 1005,
two announcers w/ talks re "United Nations". Poor/weak
w/ co-channel Mongolian Radio f/in around 1013 w/
Mongol ballads. (Barbour-NH)

17720, UNITED KINGDOM?, R.Sohl, 1359-1424, Oct.25,
"Persian"?, breif talk over music at t/in, Vocal music
at 1400, Om at 1403 w/ mention "polica" and what
sounded like a (most wanted?) list of names, More
music then talk at 1410 mentioning "Al-Qaeda";
"Taliban" and "Afghanistan". Different OM at 1412 w/
mentions of "malumat" and (4x) mentions of "Radio
Sohl". Strong signal. (Barbour-NH)
