Vernacular?, Afropops noted under static, very weak
s/off announcement followed by NA. Poor. (Barbour-NH)

6185, MEXICO, R.Educacion, 1038-1051, Sept.28,
Spanish, Noted back on the air with lively SP music,
after several days abscence last week as observed by
Jerry Berg and myself. Re-checked at 1108 to hear
China Huayi B.C and co-channel RSI, Singapore, both
with good signals, battlling for dominance.

6218.7, EUROPIRATE, Laser Hot Hits(p), 2133-2214,
Sept.28, English, Continuos mix of pop, dance and R&B
w/ OM in heavy U.K. accent b/w selections. Ad at 2148
regarding "photocopies" with web address, phone number
and mention of "U.K." No discernible ID noted. Weak
but steady under static with bouts of USB chatter. Is
this really a pirate or is it legit? (Barbour-NH)

6378.95, VIETNAM, Dien Bein RTV(p), 1203-1211,
Sept.28, Vietnamese?, Sub-continent music at t/in,
alternating talks b/w two announcers. Very weak under
noise floor, quickly unusable by 1211. Thanks to Alan
Davies tip. This will definitely be on my DX target

6600, KOREA(REP), CLANDESTINE, VO the People,
1102-1132, Sept.28, Korean, YL w/ tlks until OM at
1111, ballad at 1120 followed by OM thru t/out. Fair.

6920, PIRATE, DR.WHO, 2219-2241, Sept. 28, English,
Music by Edgar Winter, Dire Straits and J.C.
Mellencamp. ID at 2238 w/ incomplete
"..doctorwho..@xxxxxxxxx" web address for QSLs. Very
poor, noisy w/ ear-splitting, siren-like QRM at 2230
that continued through t/out. Yikes! FRN posts had
this later on, 0100-0200 on 6925 USB. Nothing there at
a check during my monitoring times. (Barbour-NH)
