Sam..
The first question to ask is: What is your budget in order to buy a SW/MW radio?
If you tell us (please in US Dollars) we could help figure out
what best to recommend.
Regards..

Hi All ,
I am a DXing fan and I am from India( Kerala). Here we don't get all the
equipments as in uer part of the world.
I used to have an old Philips radio ( from my grandfather) and I used to
listen to VOA, BBC, Radio Netherlands,
some unknow stations from the the east mainly from Indonesia.
All this when I was a young kid. I used to make all kinds of crude
antennas fitted with coils and mount it on some treetops
Phew! that was very fun..
Now I don't have that radio. Can u guys pls tell me the name of some
nice SW radios (also MW) and must not be that expensive and how to make
the antennas so that I can listen to good SW, AM and nearby FM stations.
Thanx in Advance ,
Bye ,
Sam George
