[HCDX] Peru
Peru, 4856, Radio La Hora, 1036-1100 A mix of announcers
with comments, TC's and ID as "Radio La Hora" live by a
woman at 1037. Also noted canned promos during period.
Signal was fair with noise. (Chuck Bolland, September 16, 2004)
 "Just an after thought"
I erected an inverted vee yesterday, tying it's ends to the
metal fence on one side of my yard. I still have to get
some more rope and do a better arrangement with the ends.
The legs are about 100 feet each. It's height is probably
50 feet up in a pine. Comparing this antenna with the other
three that I use on the low HF bands, the gain of the
inverted vee's signal does not seem to be any better, but I
have noticed a significant decrease in the noise. Allowing
me to copy the signal clearly in most cases.
