[HCDX] a few logs
Hi all!
Another question to the pundits:
4835.0, UNID, 2150-2205, Vernacular (no idea at all what language this
could be), could not make out an ID on the hour. Very weak this local
morning at 0345 in Kathmandu. Could this be ABC Northern Territories,
Alice Springs??? Something even weaker on supposed //5025 but definitely
a different Stn. Maybe I heard Mali??? (T.Roth-Kathmandu)
4965.0, Christian Voice/Zambia, 2207-2215, English, talk and music with
host Ken Davis, deep fades but otherwise rather clear signal. OK, now I
believe the above one was rather Mali than the ABC. (T.Roth-Kathmandu)
4450.0, Korean National Democratic Front, 2215-2220, lots of martial
talk in Korean by both male and female speakers, solid signal with some
UTE QRM. (T.Roth-Kathmandu)
9420.0, Voice of Greece, 2220-2225, Greek, talk by male host and some
canned jingles, very strong signal. (T.Roth-Kathmandu)
9690.0, Voice of Islamic Republic of Iran, s/on at 2230 with ID and
anthem, frequency announcements etc., then Koran singing, as to the
language - could have been Malay, not too sure though, reasonably strong
signal with some fading. (T.Roth-Kathmandu)
9795.0, Voice International, 2235-2245, English, wonderful Oldie program
(I'm a Believer, City on a Hill etc.), some fading there but otherwise
stable signal. (T.Roth-Kathmandu)
73 from the foothills of the Himalayas,
Thomas
