[HCDX] TP/DU DX LOG!!

A fair DU morning, but with a "twist", a new one, 8RN-639-Katherine, NT
popped in briefly at 1430 with an ID! Into ABC News. Plus signs on 8RN
on 657 and even 6WA-558. Not the best DU morning ever, but one of the
more interesting ones in a long time. Nabbing my 2nd NT catch was a
thrill! 8RN being a great birthday present. I'm 55 today.

531     AUSTRALIA, Kempsey, 2PM, good with old pop and rock at 1415 UTC
3/4 with ID "More music, more variety, more fun, 531-2PM"

549    AUSTRALIA, Orange 2CR, good with ABC News at 1400 3/4. (PM-OR)

558    AUSTRALIA, Atherton 4AM, good on top with pops and "Great songs
on 4AM" ID at 1410 UTC 3/4 (PM-OR)

558    AUSTRALIA, Wagin? 6WA, possibly the ABC station way behind the
jumble at 1420 3/4.  (PM-OR)

576    AUSTRALIA, Sydney 2RN fair with ABC  at 1402 3/4 (PM-OR)

612     AUSTRALIA, Brisbane 4QR good with ABC News at 1403 3/4 (PM-OR)

639     AUSTRALIA, Katherine 8RN, was tuning by expecting to hear 2CS,
but heard an ABC program instead. Quick to go over to 2325 khz to check
//, as 4MS-Mossman is also on 639, but there is was // to 639! Program
ending at 1429 UTC, into program ending jazzy music, then female ancr
says "This is rural ABC, 105.7 Darwin" Into ABC News at 1430. Soon lost
in the jumble though. This is my second NT ABC station. Darwin-657 was
logged back in the 80s. I am very pleased with this!  (PM-OR)

657    AUSTRALIA, Darwin 8RN, seemed // to 639 at 1432 in quick checking
// 3/4 with ABC News. (PM-OR)

A few on the powerhouse JJs were also in and out, 594, 693, etc. Korea
on 972 was also heard, but not the strongest DU/TP morning, but one of
the more interesting ones.
