[HCDX] Logs and QSLs from NH, Feb.28

4828, ZIMBABWE, ZBC/R.Zimbabwe, 0438-0450, Feb.28,
Vernacular, OM w/ talks over Afropop style music. Very
poor/weak w/ "sweeper" QRM. No sign of // 3306, I have
yet too hear them at the same time at my location,
it's either one or the other. (Barbour-NH)

4976, UGANDA, R.Uganda, 2044-2100*, Feb.24,
Vernacular, Continuos Afropop music, NA cut-off at
2100. No ID or announcement noted, Very noisy at t-in,
improved at bit by s/off. (Barbour-NH)

4910, ZAMBIA, 2150-2203*, Feb.24, Vernacular, OM with
phone-in program, sign-off announcements over music at
2200, NA until sign-off. Fair w/ relentless "sweeper"
QRM. (Barbour-NH)

6130, LAOS, Laotian Nat'l Radio, 1151-1204, Feb.27,
Laotian, Ballad at tune-in, OM and YL between brief
musical bits, presumed ID over mx followed by familiar
7 gongs at 1200, OM w/ news. Poor, noisy. SE Asians
fading as NH sunrise gets earlier by the day.

QSLs:

Three new NASWA countries verified this month, only 2
more until 100! I seriously doubt the big 200 is
attainable anymore. After 100 I'll work in increments
of 5!

ANDAMAN & NICOBAR ISLANDS: AIR Port Blair, 4760, f/d
letter w/ details, station and island info in 70 days
for 1 IRC (returned) and and EG report sent registered
mail. V/S K.S. Venkateswarlu, Station Engineer. Nice
stamps on envelope too! Extremely pleased with this,
my first, AIR QSL. (Barbour-NH)

LATVIA: Radio Marabu, 9290, f/d "Stork" card w/
sticker, German info sheet,"Friends of Radio Marabu"
membership form and note of next broadcasts, March 14
and April 18, 9290, 1300-1700, in 88 days for 1 IRC.

RUSSIA: FEBA Radio via Novosibirsk, 9445, f/d "Legacy"
card w/ site and friendly personal note from Mike
Proctor w/ previously reported info regarding FEBA
QSLs and experimenting w/ e-mail attachment
"Quasi-QSLs" for those writing to "Spotlight" program.
Back of card also mentions closure of Seychelles site
and contact Cyprus NOT defunct Seychelles address.
This in 41 days for $1 and report to Cyprus address.
