[HCDX] Radio Zavidovici
Seldomly reported Radio Zavidovici (Bosnia Herzegovina) was heard with local
programming yesterday (8/2) at 1930 utc on the split frequency of 1502.87
kHz. At 2103 utc the station was gone, so they probably signed off in the
meanwhile. The station seems to be active also in the late evening, despite
the power supply problems reported in the latest Herman Boel's European
Medium Wave Guide.
The program heard consisted mainly of so-called "turbofolk" mx (a sort of
balcanic patchanka, a mixture of pop/rock/elektro and traditional mx) and
very frequent local advertisings, often with echo effect.
