GREENLAND. "Sunnia Kalippoq" or "The whaleboat Sonja drags whale" is the
title of the interval signal used by Radio Greenland, according to WRTH.
This elusive melody, now that this remote station is only now available on
low-powered mediumwave and FM, can be heard in a good-quality audio clip
just uploaded to the Interval Signals Online website. In full, what you'll
hear is: a brief announcement in Danish - news jingle - time check, ID and
sign-off announcement in Greenlandic - national anthem. All this on Interval
