[HCDX] Power Tank
Hi all,
Just thought I'd let you all know something new in my
listening setup. I recently purchased a Clelestron Power Tank, mobile
power station. I needed it for power outages here in Clewiston. A
few drops of rain seem to short out the power around here. Anyway, I
decided to see how my NRD545 operated on DC power the other day using
the Power Tank as the source. Let me tell you, I can really hear the
difference between AC and DC power. The DC is so much quite(r) than
AC power. My NRD545 seems like a new receiver to me.
The power tank only stays charged for about 24 hours and then I need
to recharge it, but that's very easy during downtimes from my listening.
Thanks
Chuck
