171 MOROCCO, Radio Mediterranee Int'l, Nador A man
speaking in AA. // to 9575. Fair, but consistent
signal. 10/7 0216. (Harms-MD)
183 GERMANY, Europe 1, Felsberg (Saarlouis). A
song followed by a man and a woman in FF. Fair
signal. 10/7 0217-0218. (Harms-MD)
567 IRELAND, RTE Radio 1, Tullamore. 10/13
0008-0012:30 with a female singing, male talk and
chimes, then more talk. Also, 0020 with a female
speaking in EE. ID somewhat confirmed by
concurrent conversation with European DXers on the
StarChat #swl and #mwdx chat rooms. Heard another
station trying to break through, perhaps Spain?

612 UNKNOWN. A woman speaking. 10/11 0138. Too
much slop to ID language. Guessing this is

693 UNITED KINGDOM, BBC Radio 5 Live, various.
10/11 0055. Heard with clear audio, a man in EE.
Again at 0136 with an ad for some kind of
services. (Harms-MD)
693 UNKNOWN. 10/7 0213. A man speaking in UI
language. BBC and Azores are a couple of

711 UNKNOWN, strong het in WOR and Cuba slop.

720 JAMAICA, RJR, Kingston. 9/26 0002 with ad for
Nestles no fat milk, and a couple of other ads.
Good o/WGN on the SE leg of the K9AY. (Harms-MD)
747 HOLLAND, Radio 747 AM/Radio 1, Zeewolde
(Flevoland). Likely the one with music 10/11 0106.
Tentatively IDed by European DXers in IRC #swl and
#mwdx chat rooms. (Harms-MD)
756 GERMANY, Deutschlandfunk, various. Assumed
the one with a man speaking in GG. 10/12 2359. In
the clear. (Harms-MD)
765 SWITZERLAND, Radio Suisse Romande Option
Musique, Sottens. Assumed the one with man
singing. Tentatively IDed through European DXers
on Chat room. 10/11 0133. (Harms-MD)
783 MAURITANIA, R. Mauritanie, Nouakchott. A
male speaking in Arabic. // 4845 on 10/13 with
HUGE signal, could almost here it on my teeth
fillings, heh. Heard many times since. This could
be a best bet for Africa on the West Coast of the
North America. (Harms-MD)
792 FRANCE, France Info, Limoges. Assumed the
one with music 10/11 0105. Did not stick around
for positive ID. In the clear of 790. (Harms-MD)
837 FRANCE, ROM, Kingston. Assumed the one with
mx and a man talking in FF. Blasting away, louder
than 840 for a while. 10/7 0209. (Harms-MD)

Undoubtedly the one with a male in SS. In the

in EE. Who else could this be? Blowing away

891 ALGERIA, assumed. 10/7 0205 loud het against
Cuba and WLS et al. (Harms-MD)
909 UNITED KINGDOM, BBC Radio 5 Live, various.
10/11 0101-0103. Heard ID as BBC, and a man speak
in EE mentioning Alistair Cooke. HUGE signal,
stronger than the domestics on 910, which were
nearly impossible to hear at times. (Harms-MD)
945 FRANCE, France Info, Toulouse. Assumed the
one with non-stop music. Any other possibilities.
In the clear, 10/7 0228. (Harms-MD)
954 CZECH REPUBLIC, Ceský Rozhlas 2, various.
Music and a female speaking in a Slavic language.
10/11 0118. Another station with a 2 Hz het was
trying to break in. (Harms-MD)
999 UNKNOWN. Loud het. 10/7 0230. No audio.
Morocco and a couple of other possibilities.

Much stronger than 1050 for a few moments. 10/11

1071 UNKNOWN. Slight het against the domestics.
Could not get audio clear of 1070. 10/7 0231.

miles away). 10/11 0146. Assume UK with TalkSPORT.

Zadar. Assumed the one with male talking. Is

1314 NORWAY, NRK, Kvitsoy. Heard for the first
time this season 10/11 0130. Where have they
been? (Harms-MD)
1503 UNKNOWN. Loud het against local WTOP. Audio
was trying to break through the nulled WTOP slop.
This is intriguing because most European stations
here are low power. Is this Azores? (Harms-MD)
