[HCDX] Radio Conakry

Hi
At 0700 GMT ,I have a very good copy of Radio  Conakry  on 7125
KHZ.Signal on not so good s meter of RX320 is over 48 on 80 db scale.
Which comes to my next question. How is the dB compared to an s unit?
Someone long ago once told me,but my  brain cells aren't working  too
well.
On the hunt for Africans and hopefully some South Americans.
