[HCDX] PROPAGATION AND LOGS
For the last few weeks I have been able to hear only a few stations on
Tropical bands, most of them from India and China.
However, I noticed today a complete change. The propagation is totally open
for Central and South America and also for Papua New Guinea.
These are some of the several stations I heard in the past hour:
BRAZIL
4865 06/07 Radio Verdes Florestas, Cruzeiro do Sul (tent). OM em PP
praying to Virgin Mary and songs at 10:40. I lost the signal at 10:50.
Bad modulation. 24232
4885 06/07 Radio Difusora Acreana, Rio Branco. OM with positive and clear
ID at 1100 "ZYL...Radio Difusora Acreana", then YL starting a new
program "nesta manhã de Sabado...na Radio Difusora Acreana". 34233
ECUADOR
3279,6 06/07 La Voz del Napo, Tena. OM singing and praising the virgin Mary
(note: with respect to the singer and the virgin Mary I have to say that
the guy was a terrible singer). 1025. 24322
GUATEMALA
4780 06/07 Radio Coatán, Coatán (note: the speaker identified the station
as Radio Coatán, not as Radio Cultural). National anthem (?) and OM in
SS...Radio Coatan inicia sus servicios para el dia de hoy, en 4780
kHz....At 1032. 33333.
PERU
4746,8 06/07 R. Huanta 2000, Huanta. OM em SS with "comunicados" and saying
"cinco de la manana y 10 minutos en Radio Huanta 2000. 1010 UTC. 24322
