Re: [HCDX]
Gary,
Botswana used to transmit on 4830 until the early nineties. After that, they
moved to 4820. Until a few years ago they also used 3356 in the 90m band,
but that one has been silent for the last few years, as far as I know.
Maybe it was not 100% clear from one of the other reactions, but the animal
sounds are not real animals. They were apparently imitations by humans.
Sounds quite good, though. Certainly something that has attacted attention
among DX-ers.
Regards,
Aart Rouw
Bühl, Germany.

when I used to listen to the no longer R. Tezulutlan on 4835. Botswana used
to use an alternate around 4830? It's been a few years. That must be what I
remember. Or was I hoping for the return of R.Tezulutlan? 'Pretty sure it
was spanish at 0300 though. Must be La Voz Evangelica. Does Botswana still
use that same alternate 4830?
