Hello to all of you !
Between 0347 and 0352 I noted under / over strong
remains of nulled WHAM a station playing non-stop light 80's pops. Initially I
thought it was some of the music played on the Adult Contemporary mx program
"Estacíon" on Radio Rebelde, but it wasn't // to 5025 wich had a Fidel Castro
speech. It wasn't // to Radio Marti-6030 wich had a Cuban song at that
time.
Therefore, I'm almost sure it was WXLA "Mix 1180"
in Dimondale, MI as reported by Saul Chernos is the March 10 edition of DX
News.
I'd like to know what is their night power/ pattern
swich to protect co-channel WHAM, if anyone knows.
If WHAM and even Radio Rebelde will be auroraed out
this summer, maybe I will hear ZYJ463 CBN or YVNJ Radio Petrolera wich are
occasionally reported by Mark Connelly. But for instance, WXLA would be a great
catche and I'm sure what I heard was them (but I'll have to wait for a formal ID
as to enter them into my logbook) and I will try again tonight for
them.
That's it for now !
73 and good DX,
Bogdan
