 Hello !
Here is the most recent version of my MW
logbook. I already sent a logbook to Hard-Core-DX in March 2001, but since
then some border-logs were retired and many new stations were identified or
logged as unIDs, of course. Many more abreviations are used, wich makes for a
more comprehensive logging list.
For anyone interessed in recent DX history, those
from the late 90's and early 2000's, here is a list of all the MW stations I
logged from various QTH here in Quebec. Some local listening and easily heard
short-skip clears were made on my olds Montreal QTHs, beetwen 1997 and 2000.

While some of the "true DX" (mostly domestics along
with 3 or 4 Latins) were heard on the new Hyonda Protégé car-radio of my father
as well as on a pocket old tube longwave/mediumwave Phillips transistor radio,
most of the DX was done using a Hi-Fi Sanyo MCD-S830 with a ferrite bar antenna
that averages 1 meter of lenght.
This may also proove to some of you, especially to
the new-commers, that some long-haul DX can be heard even using good
inexpensive and simple portables, and also may point you (if you live in
north-eastern North America) to try some of the stations I logged. Most of
them are easy catches and can be heard nightly, a
couple of them are somewhat rare and may take several weeks or several months of
serious listening to uncover, or simply need once in a year or
once-in-a-lifetime openings in a few rare cases. Finally a few are logs of
inactive locals or AM stations that have migrated to FM. Let's go
!:
