First night of listening this season and my first transatlantic of the
season!
930kHz 0043 CFBC, St Johns, NF SIO 222 Ann "Everybody's
favourite station 93 CFBC". I was expecting to hear CJYQ as I have done many
times so this one came as a surprise. Not a trace of CJYQ but the
announcement of CFBC was as clear as a bell. Seems to have an 'oldies'
format. New one for me! Station had the usual cyclic fading, about 10 mins
between signal peaks.
Nothing else from the other side of the Atlantic was heard.
