A very good morning for DUs. One of the best I have heard for sometime.

531     AUSTRALIA, West Kempsey 2PM, very good with easy pops and
several IDs for "More music 2PM" "The Easy Mix" at 1423-1433 UTC 10/8.
Songs like "If I Can't Have You" and Chad and Jeremy's Yesterday's Gone.

and ID slogan "More music...We play back to back favorites each day,
every day on..." Suspect 4AM, but it may have been 7BU also. I still

954     AUSTRALIA, Sydney 2UE fair with talk and "2UE" IDs at 1443 10/8.
Was running 2UEs pgm on 4BC-1116 also, but 4BC was running local breaks
with IDs. (PM-OR)
1116     AUSTRALIA, Brisbane 4BC, very very good with talk on fires in
NSW and the people who have lost homes. Hrd at 1415 10/8 . Running
2UE-954s prog. With local breaks "Brisbanes 4BC" IDs. Sometimes S9+10 DB
or better. One of the best DUs of the morning. (PM-OR)

1566     INDIA, Nagpur, surely the AIR outlet here trying to make it at
1335 UTC 10/8 with M&F in Hindi and sounded more like Trid. Indian mx
rather than Film music at 1338. Barely made it above threshold and gone
before 1400. Strange time to hear this as in the past India has been
heard well after LSR and not on a strickly AU/DU morning. It makes you
wonder what path this signal was taking? It must not have been polar.
This also tried to make is 1355 10/7 also, but was weaker. I just wish I
could get AIR to QSL my report! They QSL'd 864 Shillong in 1992, but
this one has been a toughie. You know me, I don't give up!  (PM-OR)
