This sounds like a great idea Jan. You could do a common front end and use
classes for each receiver type. Programmers could get the template for
functions required, like
Function setFrequency(vfo as string, frequency as double) as Boolean
( sets required VFO to the frequency passed in. Returns true if successful
otherwise false)
I already use this method in my spectrum analyser program for the PCR1000
and Yaesu FT920 and would be willing to participate. A word of caution
however - I've tried often in the past to encourage others to write code and
all thats happened is that I've given away thousands of lines of code and
seen nothing returned to the community. My web page is at
