It's good to see you trying new experiments.. Bit like me, trying to get
that extra S point. Makes you wonder though when you have an antenna that is
'As good as it gets' and then propagation takes over..
I'm still to come up with a decent way of getting the antenna up high
through trees.. Have tried fishing line & sinkers over the years, a crossbow
& believe it or not a hand grenade with fishing line attached.. Errr the
grenade was disarmed & hollow.. but still a perfect weight to toss. It' all
in the aim huh.. A few years back I was on the top of a ladder, 15 feet in
the air putting the dipole up. The rotting ladder rung gave way.. Woo Hoo,
broke a vertebra. But I'm back out there swinging through the trees again.
hehe.

That's interesting, you wouldn't think that an extra 6 or 7 feet would
change things that much. I'm going to have a go at altering the EWE height &
see what happens. I'm still having problems with th nulling.. gain is okay.
