[HCDX] Receiver Harmonics ?
I was testing a Lowe HF-225 receiver. The receiver was connected to my ALA
1530 antenna and was pointing directly towards the Waver transmitter site
here in Belgium. There is a 150 KW transmitter of VRT Radio 2 on 540 kHz
but I was receiving these signals with strong S 9+5 dB on 1080 kHz. With my
longwire the signal was still S7.
At first, I thought that there was something going wrong at the transmitter
site. Of course, I was thinking about a harmonic. But on my AOR7030, I
could only hear this signal very faintly and distorted.
So it was not a harmonic at the transmitter site. Is there also existing
something like receiver harmonics? I thought that this phenomena was purely
something that is occurring at the transmitter site.
Does anybody know what is happening her and how?
