[HCDX] Best DX evening of the summer

Heard on a Sanyo MCD-S830 portable with internal ferrite bar directional
antenna

Domestic DX:

800   CKLW   ON, Windsor 8/15 2103 tentative; detected only as a weak
sub-audible het against residual null of local CJAD (BC-PQ).


Pan-American DX:

530   Turks&Caicos, RVC 8/15 0156 fair to good with a pop/dance spanish
religion tune about "Liberacíon", at 2158 a man giving an ID as "Radio
Vision Cristiana" followed by "La emisora de Dios" jingle, then at 0200
"Radio Vision Cristiana esta la hora" the same man heard with "en Nueva
York, Republica Dominicana y une grand parte del Caribe, son las diez de
la noche, diez de la noche" then EE legal ID "Broadcasting from
Patherson, New Jersey, etc..." then SS religious pops (BC-PQ).

640   unID (YVQO and CMBC most likely) 8/15 0205 bits of audio, sounded
somewhat spanish to me (BC-PQ).

750   Venezuela YVKS Radio Caracas Radio, 8/15 0203 poor signal, man
giving a phone number somewhere in Caracas (BC-PQ).

760   Colombia HJAJ RCN Barranquilla, 8/15 0206 fair signal but muffed
audio with a low growl, possibily from an off-channel station. Excited
SS talk (possibily live from "La Copa de Todorte"); heard a mention of
Paraguay. The announcer voice was the same that I heard the past winter,
when the reception was even better (BC-PQ).

Totally unexpected conditions toward LA, for this time of the year. If I
get all these ones now in the summer, imagine what I will hear this fall
when conditions will improve a lot !
