MEDIA RELEASE - MEDIUMWAVE AUSTRALIA

Please be advised that the new Club "Mediumwave Australia" (The
Australian Medium Club") is now active, and the first edition of the
"Australian Mediumwave News" ("AMWN") has been sent out to all
members.

It contains information about:

. New licences and stations authorised by the ABA
. Preliminary details about the Club's "HANDBOOK OF MW STATIONS IN
  AUSTRALIA, PNG, AND THE PACIFIC"
. "Australian MF, VHF and TV Broadcasting Stations" publication -
  Australian Broacasting Authority
. "Australian Radio News" - industry overview

The AMWN is a service to all members.

Membership of MW-AUS of totally free and is limited to hobbyists
resident in Australia and its Territories.

Associate membership is offered (free) to any not-for-profit
organisation anywhere in the world, on an "information exchange"
basis. Each Associate Member receives a free listing of its URL on the
Club Web site.

MW-AUS is a sister to the recently formed very popular "Shortwave
Australia" ("The Australian Shortwave Club") and is within the
Electronic DX Press "family".
