It's very hard to take pics on DXpeditions, you could have lots of technical
shots & heads etc. But I wanted to give more of an indication of the
surrounds etc..

Yes I love the SPR4 for it's performance on mediumwave. I too have done the above mods but I must say I'd still like to have a wider filter in there. The ssb filter is just a wee bit too narrow for my liking (Re: mod). Have you heard of anybody sticking other filters in there? The other big point especially if you are listening remotely is the power
consumption. A battery will last you all weekend even with the dial lights
going. I wouldn't part with mine for anything.
