[HCDX] DX TIPS (WDXR)

540  CBXQ   CANADA, Ucluelet, B.C. Still a regulat all day long on the
coast after 30 years of hearing this 40 watt LPRT. Still runs about S-5
days //690. Being 250 miles from CBXQ, it is surprising how well this
LPRT does get out,  At 1450 EDT 6/12 I remember hearing this on the car
radio driving South along the coast to the CA border in 1970 and we lost
it about Crescent City, CA. Unbelieveable. (PM-OR)

1260   CBPU   CANADA, Pacific Rim Park, BC (Near Ucluelet), at 25 or 50
watts, this one is much weaker than CBQX-540, mostly buried
u/KCYX-McMinnville OR(1KW) days, but can easily be brought up phasing
out KCYX with non stop weather info for Vancouver Island. Being a water
path does help these flea power transmitters, noted at 1910 EDT 6/12.
