RE: [HCDX] MW UNIDs heard at Sheigra
Thanks Tim - and everyone else who has replied. I think the suggestion of
WGEZ is definitely a possibility.
Anyone know if WGEZ closes down overnight?
The continuous announcement saying "Home Town Radio 1490 W... now in our
50th year" - was being broadcast over and over again. It sounded like a
really worn recording but unfortunately the callsign is very muffled as if
the tape is worn out!

"Hometown Radio" has also been used on WGEZ 1490 in Beloit, Wisconsin,
though it is not audible here, so I cannot check to see whether the
slogan is still in use.
