[HCDX] More updates to Winterfest pages
How come it all happens at once? More updates... enjoy... :-)

This was received from Tracy Wood today (March 7) and added to the forum and
events page. Plan ahead for Friday at 12:30 pm:
"A late add but our tour of LPB-Omnitronix's MW/HF transmitter factory is
on. We have to be there at 12:45pm Friday. The tour should last one hour.
Suggest 12:30 on schedule so we can round up folks after the pirate talk
for the convoy over..."

This page now has a link to WFMZ-TV-69 Allentown's RealVideo streaming of
the Accuweather Weather Channel. It covers eastern PA, southern NY and NJ,
south to just below Wilmington. You'll need broadband to view this properly,
but it is neat. Allentown is north of Philadelphia and not all that far from
Kulpsville. See the roadmap if you have location questions.
The Weather Channel - Kulpsville link has been updated; no more forwarding.
We note a host of radar maps and satellite views are now available. (By the
way, the Weather Underground providing the graphic on the 'fest home page
has lots of new features on their page as well, check it out.)
Latest forecast calls for snow showers Thursday night into Friday, but who
knows? Today (the 7th) the temperature was 50F/10C and the sun was out.

I had a nice chat with Allen Graham (HCJB DX Partyline plus more hats) this
morning. He's really looking forward to the gathering of the faithful.
Interesting chap, and he has lots to tell us.
A very late question has come up as to clubs, vendors, and broadcasters. At
the risk of being totally wrong, here is what I understand to be true. I
have no official information. Clubs: NASWA, ODXA, CIDX, NRC, AOSC will have
tables; most all ANARC clubs and EDXC will be represented by attendees.
Vendors: Sheldon Harvey of Radio HF hasn't missed past years and it would be
surprising if he were not there. I just have no information on other
vendors. Broadcasters: VOA, HCJB, R Miami Int'l, RVI, YLE Finland, WBCQ;
perhaps R Beijing. Don't know about others broadcasters. If I have this
wrong, blame someone else... <grin>... I'll think of an appropriate person
by the time I arrive Friday morning.
