A very Happy Christmas to all!  Before you ask what on earth am I doing 
e-mailing today, I'm on-call at the local hospital, so I've a few minutes 
to get on-line!

SOUTH AMERICAN PIRATE Radio Cochiguaz 11440 USB.  Nothing heard before 
0000, but then fading in to weak level.  At 0016, ID heard:  "This is Radio 
Titanic International broadcasting on the 48 meter band".  This was 
repeated several times.  (Salmaniw, 24 December  Queen Charlotte Is, BC).

VANUATU  4960  Radio Vanuatu at 11:21 with choral hymns. We with you a 
merry Christmas at 11:35, then an awful rendition of something or other on 
bag pipes at 1153.  Heard past 1204.  (Salmaniw, 24 December  Queen 
Charlotte Is, BC).

SINGAPORE  3915  BBC World Service at 1625 with good reception.

TAJIKISTAN (tent)  7245  Interval signal at 1645 into weak English 
program.  Listened for top of the hour, but CRI came on in Russian at 
1700.  (Salmaniw, 24 December  Queen Charlotte Is, BC).

UZBEKISTAN  7285  Radio Tashkent's interval signal at 1830, into unknown 
language.  Fair reception.  Not bad for mid day!  (Salmaniw, 24 
December  Queen Charlotte Is, BC).

NORTH AMERICAN PIRATES:  6955 USB  Ground Zero Radio with interesting 
programming from 0307 tune-in.  Blue Ridge address for QSLs.  Ad for 
Mexican Fisherman sing the songs of the season (only $19.95).  SIO 
4-5-4.  Signed off at 0334 with "That's it from Ground Zero Radio...".

6950 LSB  N-O-E-L Radio at 0337 tune-in.  SIO 3.5-3-3.5.  Lots of 
instrumental Xmas carols, and jingles for NOEL, "All Christmas, all the 
time".  Suddenly off at 0349.  Slick programming.  (Salmaniw, 25

ISRAEL  6973  Galei Zahal in AM at 0352 with Hebrew pop music.  Fair 
reception.  (Salmaniw, 25 December  Queen Charlotte Is, BC).

ERITREA  6315  Voice of Tigray Revolution with interval signal at 
0358.  Fair reception, with parallel 5500 weaker.  (Salmaniw, 25 
December  Queen Charlotte Is, BC).

KOREA (NORTH)  2850  Pyongyang audible here at this late hour, with 2X 
harmonic stronger at 5700.  Thanks to Hans Johnson for the tip.  Both very 
weak at 1754.  (Salmaniw, 25 December  Queen Charlotte Is, BC).

UNITED KINGDOM  13770  UN Radio in Arabic at 1830 fighting it out with RVI 
on the same frequency.  Both strong.  Parallel for UN radio, also via 
Skelton of 7260 only poor.  (Salmaniw, 25 December  Queen Charlotte Is, BC).
