CHINA

3900, Voice of the Strait; Fuzhou, Nov. 21, 2241-2250, Soft popmusic, female
speaker in unidentified language (Maybe Amoy. I am not a language expert,
but it did not sound like Mandarin to me) . //4900, 5050 kHz. 34333;
RTTY-QRM in LSB, so best in USB. (Veldhuis)

5030, CNR1; Beijing, Nov. 20, 2109-2133, Classic music, male announcer in
Mandarin. At 2130 short tune, followed by ID and talk by male and female.
44344 at first, later getting slightly weaker. Best in USB. (Veldhuis)


LIBERIA

4760, ELWA; Monrovia, Nov. 19, 2153-2202*, Afromusic. Closing announcement
and IDs in English at 2159. At 2200 NA, off at 2202. 24333 at best. Quite
regular these days. (Veldhuis)


NIGER

5020.2, Voix du Sahel; Niamey, Nov. 20, 2138-2151, Western popmusic, male DJ
in what sounded like French; but difficult to understand, ID, phone-in. At
2147 jingle with ID, followed by short piece of Afropop, announcement,
drums. Piece of flute music, followed by female talk in French. Strong
signal, but with some fading; 44434 (Veldhuis)
