[HCDX] Numbers on 6810 kHz

On 8 Nov 2000, at 1048 UTC, I happened upon a communication at 6810 kHz.
It was a female voice reciting a series of numbers in the Spanish
language.  I am unaware of the beginning time;  however, it continued
for about a minute while I was listening.  I am new to dx- ing.  When
she stopped speaking numbers, she said a word that sounded like
"pendares"  twice.
This was clear AM (not SSB).  I listened further and, at 1050 UTC there
was approximately 10 seconds of "rippling" or "bubbling" tone.  Strong
signal from my location in Crowley, Texas.  This was a lone
communication.  Nothing followed.  Like I said, I'm very new to dx- ing
and I wondered if anyone can tell me about this.
