[HCDX] PNG 9675

PNG heard today (Oct.15) from tune in 0710 to sudden off, during news, at
0804. Appeared to be a record request show, with some religious songs in
English, and station anncs in Pidgin. At 0800 played a song with words
"Voice of the Nation", then a commercial followed by station ID, clearly
mentioning NBC and some frequencies. News in English followed. Audio level
seemed a bit low, but signal fair to good.
QRM from a unid. slightly LF (Peru?) and Beijing CNR-1 came up c0800
co-channel // 17605.
Nothing audible on 4890, and no trace of any signal from Vanuatu 7260 or
4960 today. I, too, would be interested to know if PNG & Vanuatu operate to
a sched!

On Friday Oct.13 Mauritania was heard on 7245 (now clear channel - Algiers
off air) starting with carrier and tone 0754 then Guitar notes 0757 til 0759
when ID in Arabic starting with "Huna Nouakchott....". Then into lengthy
Koran followed by a talk. At 0831 a long mournful song until 0901 then more
talk. All in Arabic.  Signal good at first, but faded down by 0900.
This is the Friday exception to sched - only on 4845 since then. No drifting
now???

There's currently no trace of Sahara's morning transmission 0600-0700 on
7450-60 (or anywhere else on 41m). Can anyone hear it evenings UT?
