Hi,


Here's what I hear on my Icom IC-R75 lately. Antenna: 20 meter longwire, as
usual.


CONGO

5985, Radio Congo; Brazzaville, Oct. 14, 1824-1834, Female talk in French,
several canned IDs as "Radio Congo, Chaine Nationale". Afropop, followed by
more talk and mid-sentence ID. 34433 (Veldhuis)


MALAYSIA

7295, RTM Radio 4; Kajang, Oct. 12, 1448-1459, Male announcer in English,
reading letters and playing oldies music. Several mid-sentence "Radio 4"
IDs. 34433 untill 1458, when R. Liberty switched on their transmitter. Also
regular with weak/fair signal at around 2200 UTC. (Veldhuis)


PAPUA NEW GUINEA

9675, NBC; Port Moresby (p), Oct. 13, 0748-0802, South Sea song, male
announcer in English. Then 80's popmucic (Fleetwoord Mac, Mike and the
Mechanics). Weak signal on clear frequency. After 0800, when signalstrength
was decreasing, there was what sounded like a promo. This was followed by
drums, and male speaker with news in English. At least 1 clear mention of
Papua New Guinea, but no positive ID heard. (Veldhuis)


RWANDA

6055, Radio Rwanda; Kigali, Oct. 12, 2057-2101, Noted with IDs and S/off
announcement in several languages, including English and French. NA just
before 2100, followed by testtone untill almost 2101. Weak signal tonight;

VIETNAM

6165, Dia Tieng Noi; Hanoi, Oct. 13, 2235-2300*, Excellent signal tonight,
44344. Program consisted of (soft) music, with very brief announcements by
female in Hmong. Vietnam mentioned. Slow tune towards 2300, followed by
short announcement with another mention of Vietnam. Then off. (Veldhuis)
